Yeah, Richard thought i was a jerk for bringing up those stupid valves 2 years ago when i got mine. I ordered 2 sets and the first ones seperated and leaked within 6 months.

Jughead- watch alot of YouTube videos, and read everything you can on this forum, you'll get an idea of what you need. Then go to the nearest whitewater to you and practice and make friends. Its a great sport and great community. If you try hard and have fun...you'll fit right in . -M-

I have a three piece and a one piece AB paddle. I gave up the one piece as my primary stick pretty quickly. It has a little too much flex for my taste. I love my orange blade Werner Bandit! It looks like number 2 in the pic above, after 2 years of switching sides, but just seems to sand away instead of chipping away. A buddy just got a carbon version....it didn't feel any lighter. I'll wait and watch how his wears before I go from orange,to the new...
