It is a breakdown paddle, I successfully shortened my paddle by cutting the female end, pushing the plug farther down the shaft and drilling a new hole for the attachment button. It took about an hour. SJ

I have a Werner Carbon breakdown that is about 1 inch too long, can I shorten it?

Anyone know how to go about doing this? It is the paddle with the yellow blade, black shaft and wooden handle. Thanks, Stephen
