I decided to just go ahead and buy the Zephyr. I did get to see a Paradigm at NOC on saturday. It looks exactly like a cross between an Ovation & Phantom, neither of which I care for. I'll paddle rivers like, Tellico, Ocoee, French Broad, Nolichucky, Big Laurel, Wilson, ect... Class 3-4 rivers and even some creeks.

I just put a deposit on a Zephyr and need some advice. I've paddled one once and loved it. I've also paddled an Ocoee several times and loved that boat as well. Should I consider trying a Paradigm prior to making this purchase?

Bill, let me know if you're gonna be passin' through Asheville anytime soon, and we'll do the deal on the paddle for Adam. Otherwise, I will stick to indoor roll practice this time of the year. I would be interested in running the upper green. I haven't done that one yet.

Anyone know of a roll class in Asheville, particularly where c-boaters might be? Just converted a Pyranha Sub 7 and now it's time to learn how to roll it!

Does anyone know who the Esquif rep in Asheville is? I recently demo'd a Bell Ocoee and loved it. I'd like to try a Detonator, Spark and Zephyr as well before buying the Ocoee.

I paddled with you and your buddies on the Nanty. I remember yoru buddy swimming a bunch in his Detonator, and I remeber you paddling the Ovation and swimming once at surfers.
