My advice would be to start with the Outrage. Paddle it for a year or two, and then move on to the Ocoee if you feel you need to.

You posted some good ones
It all depends on your skill level. If class 3-4 is your game, you should shoot for what you listed. Also, be sure to keep French Broad section 9 on your radar. Rodeo
I've never paddled one, but it looks to me like a chopped viper 11. I'd love to take one for a spin.

Thanks
Thanks for the great advice. I think I may actually work this deal out. DHL wanted $600 for shipping a boat, where these other shippers charge between $100-$200.
Thanks!!

Advice on shipping a boat
Any of you guys have advice on how to get a boat shipped across the country? I'm basically looking for who I could use as a shipper, and basic cost info. I'm sure that some of you guys have done this before. Any advice would be hugely APRECIATED!
Thanks,
Phil

Dagger Crossfire
Does anyone have experience paddling a Dagger Crossfire as a C1? I have an opportunity to buy one for cheap. I have been looking for a Cascade, but thought I'd see what you guys thought about the Crossfire.
Thanks!

Outfitting (Cont)
Okay....I understand now how to use the center rail in the kayak to mount the forward end of the thigh straps. How do I mount the rear ends of the thigh straps? Do I have to drill through the kayak?
