Thanx, I read everything on Mohawk's site, and I am gonna call them. I just wanted some thoughts from paddlers who might know something.

?

Thanks, this is the discussion I wanted. I do own and paddle a C-1 (dagger centrifuge,) so "I have some experience with "edgy." Looking for a short boat that will "throw-down." BTW I am very heavy for the Centrifuge.

New boat for Mike
Help, I paddle (and Like) a Mad River ME. It is a super cruiser! While I enjoy hole rides, and surfing, I can't help but believe I could have a better boat for hot-dogging. I am looking for an open boat in royalex, that is shorter, lighter and more fun in the waves and holes, (and pools.) I can get ...

$$
First they said $866. This is a GREAT price for any new boat with outfitting. I suppose I should have got my card out right then. When I returned, it was $1100.00 and some change. I kind of lost interest.

Esquif dealer
Well I went out to buy it or the Nitro. Short story. Was quoted one price, drove 2 hours. When I got there these boats were suddenly a lot more expensive. I left them there.

Try the boats

I am concerned about the outfitting glue in the Zephyr, and I did not feel as comfortable in it... I love my ME and will continue to paddle it, I have a decked boat, I just want a smaller open bo...
