Ya dam taxes. Those are some pretty decent ideas. Martin- Im not really in the market for a new boat, but would still love to try the wheelboy. Probably won;t get another boat until im done school, unless i win one. I had to sell my phantom last year... :( so now im out a open boat too. Im excicted ...

Availbility and price is a huge factor. In canada, there is no way im going to order a wheelboy without trying it brand spanking new. I can get a LL boat new at the end of the year, or on sale for cheaper and just convert it. It performs the same as any yaker would say it would, it's just becomes ti...

harder to roll then your open boat? eek. im a big LL fan, i love there boats the way they perform, and some of the best customer service in the buisness. They always make good conversions, maybe a Trigger or lil Joe would be a good choice? There supposed to be super easy to roll, and i haven't met a...

I pulled my grab loop right off of my skirt (the whole strap - everything came apart), if it would have happened during a emergency and needed to swim i would have drowned. Mountain Surfed has not anwsered any of my emails, and i have called asking for them to return my phone call, because i don;t w...

GT would be a better fit at your size. I find that i fit myself into conversion as i would if i was using it as a kayak. If the GTX has a reccomened wieght range of 170-230 lbs, and im 115, then the boat may feel way to bulky and sit way out of the water. In a c1 you can usually get away with going ...

I found the vision extremely easy to throw around, espically compared to the bigwheel or pop. The hull is way faster then the skip despite the skips longer leghth and im 160lbs and can cartwheel the vision 56 in flatwater with ease. the only thing the skip has going for it compared to the vision, is...

LL Vision 44, i paddle a 56 and it's the best wave boat out there if you like going huge, and like LL hull designs, it's the ONLY way to go.

Hey, Liquid Skills sometimes runs a c1 clinic, it's not a "regular" thing, usually they have a guest instrucvtor like Graham Harada or Paul Danks, come by and teach a special clinic, i would give them a call. Rental/Demo C1's are going to be impossible to find, there is no market for people to rent ...

yes it is, when "the wall" at chmaplain completely dries out, another wave forms out in the center slot. With eddy service. It never came out last year cause the water never dropped enough.
In Fact i haven't surfed it in 2 seasons, it has never come back like it once did.......
