Had this old Navarro rubber fleece for almost a couple of decades. it was the warmest under layer I have ever had. Getting ready for the winter, is there anything better than the fleece if you know what I am talking about?

true that, if you are floating down the river, you don't need hip pads.

Hip pads are great, I cannot paddle without them. What kind of paddling do you do? Everyone has their own reference of course. I would try paddle with them first, bet you will not go back without them. Pros- control of your boat , Cons- time to make them.

Other than I, would be nice who else has one and what kinds of set up you got in there? I can post picture of my set- up. I am planning to have a back band set up instead of the foam back rest.

Surfing in the ocean this morning and my neck gasket were rubbing my neck a great deal. Anyone knows what oilment to use for prevention? Something that will not destroy the gasket. Thanks. It was killing me. I have a big red line around my neck now.

Looks awesome and solid. The back rest metal bar is a bit scary, but that is prob. just me. How are the strapping, is it lose. Good work on installing the airplane buckles.

This is going to be my summer project. I 'll have to read this thread again in july when I have time t work on my paddle.
