YES Very sad indeed
Among others we all owe a lot to their development of the sport
I was hanging on in a time warp until my son prodded me into the
Newer poly boats. A very grateful dad I might say

Re: foot pegs - or no pegs?
The pegs in my octane sit a bit higher then in the viper My toes started to squish under the pegs so I added a Half inch foam pad under the peg aboutb6 sq inches or so Worked perfect About coming off the saddle you might just need to square off the Saddle back a bit you might not be sitting square e...

Re: foot pegs - or no pegs?
Unless I was missing something over the years I cannot see paddling without them. Been using them since late 80's perception saddle whitsell piranha. I adjust them so any flexing on my thigh muscle transfers to the bow.if I try to roll And I am not tight like that I lose the twist in the boat. I am ...

Re: New Air Bags
Very good question
I first tried carrying a very small Phillips screw driver to depress the center of the valve
That sucked. The only solution I found was to unscrew the valve
Which I say sucked but not as much.
Would love to hear of a better way also

Re: NEW! Weekly forum topic - Boat of the Week

Very entertaining , but what do my wondering eyes appear But a what looks like a very well preserved The Edge by Mohawk. Never paddled one but I understand that the DNA of a lot of perform...

Re: north fork of the Payette
The way I heard it from bob as I recall was that they stopped in a local raft
Place and asked directions which started a you gonna run that in them
We gotta see this. So it was break time at the raft place.

Re: car roof racks
Had yaks on my trucks for 30 years, multiple boats, hundreds of thousands of miles Neve a problem. Son has Thules , same Can be said. The main point should be to start with one or the other and stick with that brand And just adapt to the vehicle you presently own As soon as I buy a different vehicle...

Re: Latex Gaskets - Trimming or Stretching
