Method, Cascade, Slasher for Sale -SOLD
I have a bunch of C-boats for sale in Vermont. Best offer takes them away! I have a Perception Method with a Perception/Dagger pedestal - some oil canning to hull A Dagger Cascade, predominantly red. Last summer I bought a pair off Slashers when I returned to the sport. I'm selling the yellow one. I...

Re: Prijon Delirious advice
I returned to the river after a long hiatus. The first couple times out were especially humbling. I'd give the boat a try. If you don't like it and you're near Vermont I could be interested if it doesn't work out. I am lighter than you, but really enjoyed the boat back in the day!

If I didn't already have one, I'd jump on it! That's a great price on a fun, river running playboat!

Re: Need hard plastic D-ring source
I only use the metal d-ring part and will let you know if I can find the hard plastic pieces. Mine were made by Voyageur (Mad River Canoe's accessory company). I don't know what happened to Voyageur when MRC was sold to Wilderness Systems and left Vermont. The was a long time ago.

Slasher For Sale - Sold!
Hi!
I recently purchased two Slashers as a package, but would like to sell one for $100. I use a lap-belt so the one I'd prefer to sell is yellow with straps and hip pads already installed. Located in Middlebury, VT.
Thanks for your interest!

Re: Blackfly Option Hull Life
I recently purchased an oil-canned Slasher, which returned to shape during a couple hot days in the sun this week. Proper storage makes a difference for keeping plastic hulls in good shape! I wonder what happens if you turn it upside down in the sun?

Re: WTB: low volume squirt C-1
Thanks to Sir Adam's efforts and connections my needs have been met for the moment, but I still might be interested in another boat at some time. I'm now the proud owner of my 2nd Oxygen (of the 12-13? ever built) after giving my first one away. Given how rare this boat is underscores how cool the c...

Re: Boat repair
Royalex is a sandwich material. A vinyl exterior (red) provides a wear layer for the ABS layer (milky white) over a foam core (visible). You can certainly rebuild the wear layer using a couple layers of fiberglass or Kevlar - like the skid plate on the end - but putting a patch over the whole bottom...

Re: question about abs slurry repair for royalex
I don't know anything about and can't comment on the ABS slurry repair, but here's how I'd fix it. I like that you've drilled a hole at each end of the crack to keep it from continuing. I've generally used epoxy to wet out fiberglass or Kevlar on Royalex repairs. If the repair is in a place prone to...
