Re: Millbrook Shacho For Sale

Try looking them up on NESS. New England Slalom Series. I think saw this boat cross posted over there. Nice boat, but, I think you are calling dibs on it :D

Silverbirch US Disti? News?

Is anyone aware of a US Distributor for Silverbirch yet, especially the Covert. I like everything I am reading.

If not, any recommendations on who to work with in Canada?

Thanks to all,

Tom

Hi Tom,

Who is going to retail them in the US? Looks like a really good boat.

Thanks,

Galasport Loco C1 for sale - $500/obo

To All, Selling my Galasport Loco Whitewater Slalom Canoe. This boat has been raced and used for training. It was built in 2006 with the Flexi layup. The boat is outfitted for a paddler weighing between 185 - 205 lbs. Could probably go a little bigger and be quite happy, 215. Very stable design and ...

Re: Slalom C1 for heavy paddler & relative beginner (in slal

Galasport will still build a Loco. Good boat easily cut to 105 kg. They could blow it up a bit more as well. Not the most cutting edge design these days. The stern does not slice and sink so well. Not a lot of pop, however, that is a lot to expect from a boat cut for 105 kg. that will still float hi...

Do not have much on an opinion on the Gyramax other to say it will teach you everything you need to know regarding your questions. Check the boat review page of the Cboats website. I will say that there is a slalom boat in the Gyramax's lineage and that they are pretty fast and stable. With regards ...

That looks really nice. I have hull sitting outback that I would love to try it on. Do you have an Opening Price Point in mind yet? If worried make sure you indicate a trademark is in process and sign and date all your work. It is the quickest way to protect yourself. If the anchors are threaded I g...

Great comments here, good history lesson. If you check in the Search Boats section above and look for a Loco you will find a series of pics that have a SuperBatMax next to Loco. In addition you can see it next to Double Dutch Ultimo and a Makao. The Ultimo was cut down and really did not make it thr...

Been thinking about this and I think Bob's post above hits it pretty square. In addition I think with your offside "j" you are also experiencing side slipping your boat. To me it just dumps to much speed to be usefull and is really closer to backpaddling on your offside. Backpaddling is certainly us...
