My arms feel tired from watching. Hats off to the paddler for having determination to..." just go for it "

Up-dates on the Bulldog
Yes, yes ...and yes to all thous questions and comments. As everyone can see here, some up dates in the tanks were needed and attained. I raised the tank higher to the gunnel...a lot.. like just beneath the gunnel. I made the overall cockpit even smaller pulling away that un-wanted space behind the ...

Colin secure storage in Bulldog
Hey Colin, Readig this thread, and knowing you from the various Gull races, you have seen the "Bulldog" Standard wt is 44lbs outfitted, on the base model. I can install secured hatches in those composite air chambers not only for your pelican case but any other gear to prevent those "yard sale" spil...

Careful on the blasting idea.
Yeah careful with the blasting concept. Usally you will weaken the resin matrix, with the media blasting. Yes blasting is used on sail boats to remove gel-coat which has 20 layers of material behind it. Your boat... likely three layers of material. The blasting may blow threw the hull, or weaken the...

remove paint from kevlar...
DO NOT USE A PAINT STRIPPER of any kind. Understand resin is nothing more than a expanded chemical formula of paint (epoxy primer vs epoxy resin ) Differences are evident to those who want to correct me on this example. But for simplicity, relate the paint and resin. If it eats paint it will eat the...

Marking the calander
As soon as you can nail down a real date and time, I 'll do what i can to make it. I'll see about getting some extra boats across the border, and work with Al Greves to ensure both daughters come with boats, as well as a spare Bulldog (adult composite boat) for paddlers to try out. Andy Phillips Own...

infusion and core materials
I've infused various core materials. One has to realize in order to learn and succeed you will fail, otherwise how would you ever know what works, and what causes the things that don't work. Try a few test panels and cut threw the panels and assess your core decisions before you lamnate/infuse your ...

Hey hats off to ya, and your challenges will be very rewarding when the kids paddle it around. Contact the folks at Beluga in Quebec as they made a mini Appalossa Bulkhead to fit a splash and still have the dementions, ask for Eric. This smaller saddle unit was wicked.
