Go boat in Mexico...you will not regret it

Hey folks, Having just returned from Mexico before Xmas I can honestly say just do it...sign up with Esprit and go for the week. Well some folks have said in the past the Esprit holds your hand a little to much and that you should just go on your own I have to disagree. Having boated in Central and ...

Paddle Options

I would agree that the Carbon shafts give no real warning but instead just break. I don't think you need a carbon shaft to have an Excellent paddle though. The most recent paddle Andy at Echo constructed for me was a wood shaft and blade but then wrapped in carbon to add strength and stiffness. My s...

Check out Echo

Hey, I would suggest you look at Echo Paddles. http://www.echopaddles.com Andy builds really nice sticks that last. Depending what you want he can put together different combos of wood and composites. One nice thing about having a composite shaft is the blade can be changed out if you break it or th...

Worth posting twice!

Just noticed that Gonzo posted this as well. I had it ready to go earlier this evening but had to run out. Came home and hit submit only to see I was beat to it. Oh well certainly worth posting twice. Good information and entertainment!

Other foam will be required to finish the job. Make an offer. Would like to get it out of my garage. Will ship if possible or drive...

Any big people paddle an EZG 60

Hello, I am looking at outfiiting a EZG 60 as a c1. I am 215 lbs. Any thoughts on how this boat will do both in bigger water (Ottawa River) and as a park and play c1. Also any bigger people have any suggestions for C1's for someone in my weight. I had a Big EZ but find I am a little heavy for it. I ...

As for the scratches they came with the boat when it was purchased used. The drain hole in the front was added by the airline. What you can not see is the crack in the hull.

Repairing a Taureau

Hello All, I was hoping someone might be able to offer some ideas/thoughts on repairing my Taureau. The damages seen here were compliments of the airline well traveling to Costa Rica this winter. I am still working on a settlement with them but would like to get the boat ready for the spring. Any su...

Tarurea Weight

Hello, I have a Taureau that I really enjoy paddling. I am 6'5" and weigh 215lbs. Paddling the boat for the first time it was a little tippy but I have since adjusted and got use to it. I am quite comfortable in it now. I would not argue that 200lbs is the upper end ideal weight but at 215-220 I am ...
