FNA helmets

Anyone using them other than the x stream? Looking for a new lid and have heard good things. What are people's opinions on some of their other models?

Thanks,

Brad

hey erin, I'm currently paddling a converted pop. Been paddling it for a little while now, had it out for a couple of small river trips (class III, little to no play) as well as a dozen or so pool sessions and it did alright. It's my first C1, so I can't really comment on the pros/cons since I have ...

Calling all LL saddle owners

I know theres only a handful of them out there, but has anyone drilled into the plastic saddle for lower thigh strap anchors? I don't really want to mess with the saddle to much but can't find anything decent for an anchor. I currently have an all foam system but am looking at thigh straps to keep m...

mini cell foam

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get my hands on some mini cell foam to finish outfitting on my c1? I dont' need a lot, just need enough to make some ankle rests and to reinforce the present bulkhead. Maybe a square foot or so. So anyone got some scraps kicking around close to hamilton o...

I'm in a similar situation as Col, I have an opportunity to get a LL pop. The space cadet is a good conversion, how about the pop?

Thanks for the offer Kevin, but I want to stay with a boat that I've paddled. I haven't had a chance to paddle a phantom and it seems to be a boat that ppl usually love or hate, so not on my list right now. Thanks for the tip about boatwerks classified, I'm talking with the girl right now trying to ...

LF detonator, zoom, ocoee

Looking for a royalex boat in decent shape, outfitted or bare hull, in the southern ontario region.

Main choices detonator, zoom or ocoee, shorter boats are preferable. But would consider other boats of similar style if you're looking to sell. Looking to spend $800-1000 CAD.

From what I hear the prelude is an excellent boat. As far as fit is concerned, you may want to consider getting a outfitting system with straps as opposed to a bulkhead. The bulkhead boats you've been paddling seem to be too loose for you, I wouldn't expect stock outfitting on a prelude to be any di...

There was an article on the boatwerks board a while back posted by Corran. Here's the link

http://www.2imagine.net/blogger2006/modify.html

Basically, its a description of a squashtail they modified by increasing volume similar to what you're asking about, for a team paddler.

How about a Salsa? Don't know too much about the boat, but it sure looks fun.

Esquif is listing them on their website these days so it can't be too long until production models starting flowing or maybe they already are, not sure.

NRS dry suits

Don't mean to hijack the thread... But has anyone had any experience with NRS Extreme Dry Suits? Its made out of 420 denier, 3 layer TriTon. Anyone know the material, can comment on its breathability? I too want to avoid the all Nylon suit and the "personal sauna". Just wondering if the NRS suit is ...

Hi,

This is a bit off topic, but has anyone dealt with these guys before. They're offering me a super deal right now, but I am a little hesitant purchasing a boat out of country. Don't want to get burned, need some reassurance.

Thanks,

Esquif Factory Outfitting

Hi, Does anyone have an opinion on the Esquif Factory outfitting, anyone using it? I'm currently looking into a zoom and it looks like it would cost approx the same more or less as custom outfitting. Obviously the advantage of doing it myself would to have it tailored for me, but there is something ...
