Sea quest has changed its name.. I think....
I got a few companies to try this buckle when I found if from the scuba company in San Diego in the 80's. They have since been bought out and changed their name but I seem to recall at my last inquiry that they still made the quick release buckle; in fact I think that this is the very same buckle in...

I used garbage bags...
two (one inside another) rolled up around a really thin dowel until they made a three foot long tube. the thin dowel allowed the tube to flex and bend around the side of the rim. My computer with all the info is in the hospital, but I think I sent Adam the pics of this so maybe he has the ability to...

Questions about the Chattooga
Sorry! Again I have to ask, to recharge the memory cells from the one time that I ran it 11-13 years ago. What's the highest drop on either section 3 or section 4? I mean both runs, and a straight drop/pourover like Dick's Creek or Second Ledge. I seem to remember the Narrows having something on tha...

chattooga info?
Hey, folks!
Does anyone know a website that has info on sections 3 and 4 of the Chattooga? Hoping for pics and individual rapid info, especially on "The Narrows". "Deliverance" tales wouldn't hurt either!
TIA

Well.............
Martin; That’s the “re-learning” aspect of some strokes. You have to rotate the shaft during the recovery of the previous stroke to get maximum benefit. Once I started considering the bent shaft I also looked at paddling as a whole as regards getting maximum potential possibilities. I switch paddle ...

Hey, Longboating
Bent shaft paddles rock!! I made and sold a bent shaft designed specifically for whitewater for awhile and we had the junior national champion discover it 6 days before the national championships. He took our bent shaft paddle (the blade came off the shaft at a 22 degree angle as opposed to the norm...

I've never had a problem with the Kevlar felt; I mean you're whacking into things at this amazingly high speed of what, 9-11 mph? The main problem that I found with most skid plates is that there's way too much resin put into the mix. You just want to barely impregnate the felt, and that's it. You s...

Paging Craig Smerda....
Hey Craig ;
I tried to answer your e-mail regarding your trip to the Left Coast, but I'm not sure that it got through, what with my patented hybrid-computer/hybrid-posting skills. If not I'll just post it here 'cause that seems to work.
Anyway, let me know;

Here’s the sales figures for our type of boats; I wonder if anyone knows how many C- boats are sold/out there in general?
