Hi Jim I live in Central Switzerland near Lucern, about one hour drive to Basel. We probably paddle flatwater at this weekend 25km Lake Lucerne from Alpnach to Fluelen. I have several open canoes, Spanish Fly, Zephyr, Old Town Canadienne, Peterborough Woodstrip..... Just call me on the cell phone 00...

It's not far away from Obwalden (Central Switzerland) to the Simmenthal.
Really like to try a Zephyr and a Outrage. I have to buy a bigger boat
again.

The material seems tough. I got anyway a scratch about 1-2 milimeters deep by 100mm long in the bow, just from the first run. It is light and quite durable in case of impact resistant. But if you meet a really sharp edge of a rock, the hard material scratches. If i want to have fun for a longer time...

HI AJ I can't tell you about the Ocoee I paddled it just once to compare it with the Mohawk Viper 11, years ago. I bought the Viper, and used it a lot for a couple of years until it wore out.
