Re: Does anyone canoe in Colorado?

I am a Front Range CO canoeist. Like others have mentioned, you can check out the Rocky Mountain Canoe Club, however, they are more about tripping then WW canoeing. There is a group up in Fort Fun called the Poudre Paddlers. There is also a Facebook page called Rocky Mountain Canoeist and I think th...

Re: Burn 3 conversion

A little history, I am 190lbs, 5'9". I moved from an H3:255 to a Burn Large 2nd edition for the past 4 years. It has been a great boat. First off I can fit in it on a 7.5" saddle without my thighs digging in the combing. It was also nice and wide for knee placement. Sometimes it felt short in big wa...

Larry Horne's C1 Saddle System

I have a few questions on this saddle placement. If you did install it, were you able to use the predrilled holes that attach to the side of the kayak or did you have to modify it to make it work? The kayak this saddle is installed into seems to far forward using those holes. If anyone has Larry's p...

Feather Fest Question

I have been looking at the Feather Fest for next year. I have read about the 3 sections, Rogers Flats, Tobin and Lobin. Are there any other Class III-IV sections in that area to be paddled that time of year, in a typical year?

Re: c1 Karma outfitting???

Before you do anything, I would be sure to check your boat trim and work from there. My friend who has the Karma with JK outfitting did some adjusting, with his seat position as it related to the boat trim. But the biggest problem was that the thigh strap attachment point at the bottom of the boat w...

Re: Liquid Logic and Pyranha conversion questions...

Yes, you can use the rail in the Pyranhas. Here are some pictures of my H:3 conversion, I also used the same technique for a Burn. https://www.facebook.com/al.johnson.904 ... 235&type=3

Re: Jackson Karma... M or L?

Bernie,

How would you compare the Karma to the Large Burn? I am 5'9" 185lbs. I like the looks of this boat, but have not seen it in person yet.

Jharris are you going to get it with Jackson C-1 outfitting or do your own?
