Paddle came with a canoe I bought. Just doesn't feel like what I'm used to and I don't want to change now.

Not sure how the composit blade will hold up the way I beat rocks on our creeks.

Paddle is a 56" by the way.

Ryan: lurking here, huh? You can get 6' bags from Mohawk that should go from your toes to your knees. That's what i have in my Prophet ( a dry boat: Dale B paddles one!). I also have lacing on top as well as multiple straps down the bags tied into D rings. You do realize your problem is why folks go...

We'll be out there for a week, but I'm pretty much tied to "the group" near Salida. I'll be happy to get one run in and anything else is gravy.
I'll probably be running a raft some and hanging with my family hiking, etc.
Thanks!

OC-1 opportunities near Salida, CO

Planning a trip out in July, staying near Northrop/Salida. Have some info on Brown's Canyon. Any info would be appreciated. I'm comfortable with III and III+ water. Willing to swim some IV with folks around to fish me out.

Sorry to disappoint any/all of you guys. My buddy's Prophet has gone to his brother-in-law, thanks to his wife.

I have a Prophet and love it. Only paddled an Outrage to compare with, however. From what I've heard in the last few years, the Prophet has a devoted following, especially since they are not in production. Many former Prophet lovers had to find another boat when the last one wore out. It is a 12' boa...

Anybody looking for a Prophet?

Got a buddy who's thinking about selling his Prophet. I've seen it: Good shape given its age. He hasn't given me a price yet.

I started in an Outrage, which I liked until I got in the Prophet. Prophet's not quite as fast, but is drier and more stable, great for bit drops and big waves. If I had to go buy a new boat, I'd probably get an Outrage. Tried a Detonator the other day, very slow. If I ran creeks alot, it would be g...
