As Martin said it can truly be a full on run. The highest I've been on it was around 150 but I have seen it at 300, its just a nasty class V that I didn't want any part of. I was there just the other weekend with one of my daughters and her Splash, she had a great time showing all the on lookers fro...

I`ve had the odd person mention that the $1600.00 CND. was alot of money, well yes it is, none of us have money trees growing in our back yard. ( Ok there's a few that have money plants. 8) )There's one thing that I havn`t made that clear, and that is these boats are fully outfitted ready for junior...

You people don't know how happy I am about the responses for and about the Splash. Its a pretty big deal for me to get these kids in canoes at a much younger age then ever before. Its not the adults that are proving this idea works, its the kids !!!!! A number of these kids running in ages from 7 to...

Splash junior OC1 I designed the Splash to be very forgiving, thus instilling confidence. The boat has taken our 12 year old daughter to the point where she is working class II/III with confidence. (Anyone at the Gull Open Canoe Slalom this past weekend can attest to that). The boat has a flat hull w...

Yes Scott McGregor of Rapid Mag did a review of a Ace 5.1 C1 a few years back and I`d have to agree with Scott`s review...its a great C1. I`ve had my Ace as a C1 for about 3 years now, its a great alround C1. As conversions go, its fast, stable, a great surf and than some. I haven`t been paddling C1...

Hi Pac its a very good rant...I don`t visit the Cboat site all that often, I guess its just lack of time. Just this pass year I started my own company up here in Ontario called Canoe Water Adventuring and it just so happens that one of the areas I`ve focused on is kids white water gear and wear for ...

I`m not sure what you mean, are you asking about the seam along the side of the boat or the side edge around the cockpit ? I`m thinking you mean the side edge in the cockpit, you could but the further you trim the further you take the sides down which would mean a wetter boat. I guess it would be ok...

Hi keez, if you want to give my boat a spin your more than welcome. I`ll be at the Moose next weekend if your interested, I`ll be with Joe Langman and Paul Mason and they`ll both have Taureaus as well and I`m sure you could also jump into one of theirs. If that doesn`t work for you just email me and...
