Re: Minicell Foam Adhesive?
My go-to has been "red can" DAP / Weld wood contact cement, most often from my local ACE hardware.

... spot. I don't have a dremmel so I use an air grinder. The stone is a 1 inch cone looking thing and I only use the side of the cone. I got mine at Ace for about $5. Use a washable marker, trace where your going to place it and the dremmel is easy to keep within the lines, it is very easy to get a ...

... windmill (with my own modest skill set) I would try to find an old Ace III. This has the same/very similar hull as the Tiptop, but a much lower bow deck. I suspect there are some out there, but I have no idea where.

Re: Zet Raptor C1 conversion
I'm using a Level Six Ace kayak deck on all ZET C1 models (the DirectorC1 is my primary boat), and each boat has about an extra inch added to it's saddleback. The tunnel offset isn't out enough to concern me.
It's challenging to get on, but it's dry and stays put.

If you have an Ace Hardware near you, then they should have this. It IS Vynabond. I've used it several times. http://www.acehardware.com/product/inde ... Id=1381659" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: What is the most difficult CBoat you've ever paddled?
I'll go with ACE III as well. I never could stay upright in that boat for very long.
I was just fine in a few other Wildwater boats, but not that one...
I built an extrabat that was over cut for my weight - edges were in the water sitting still... there really in no need for a 13'2" Squirt boat :-)

Re: What is the most difficult CBoat you've ever paddled?
That's what you get for paddling a squirt boat at a weight exceeding the cut;)
Well, except for the Demo Maven. You aren't heavy enough for that one!
I my old ACE III resurfaces try it out... or drop by and try the Oxygen;)

Re: What is the most difficult CBoat you've ever paddled?
Running a single Class II rapid in the Maven. Got off water feeling like I had a 6 hr work out.
I think the O2 would be just as hard. As for the ACE - never been in it so I take your word on that one Adam.

What is the most difficult CBoat you've ever paddled?
I admit... my used Ace III was by far the most difficult for me... even the Oxygen (and Maven) are easier.
That said, some of the problem may have been the flexing hull. I have a Bala (also a WildWater boat) that is far less terrifying.

Go for it. Should be squirty and wave-wheely. Fun with eddy lines! Might be pearly on waves?

Ace 4.7 as first C boat?
I've been wanting to convert a boat for my first C1 for a while now. I have an old Ace 4.7 sitting in the garage collecting dust, and I've been toying with the idea of making it my first project. Now, I know there are a lot better boats to convert, but this one is in my price range. My question is ...
