Re: River Elf C-1 Spray Skirts
... that would fit older 4m (90's style) slalom boats, late 80's squirt boats (and even before) ... for example: the 92 Fanatic, Dagger Zealot, Acrobat, etc. I once owned these boats years ago, but no longer do. If anyone is interested in a skirt for this style boat, let me know and send me ...

Thanks, I think I will pass, what I'm really looking for is a 3.5 meter race layup slalom boat.

Re: Millbrook Hornet, Valley Mill Magnet, New Wave Acrobat for sale
Aargh, yes, the Acrobat came from you. I had a lot of fun it it for about 5 years or so I think. The Millbrook is a Hornet. I don't know what the layup is but it is not heavy - it weighs about the same as my River Elf Storm Chaser. ...

Re: Millbrook Hornet, Valley Mill Magnet, New Wave Acrobat for sale
May be interested in the lower volume Millbrook. What is the layup like? Is it a heavy boat?
Thanks

Re: Recommendation for river runner C1
... squirting the Atom, at your weight it may be impossible quite frankly. A cut down Shaggy Sith may work, but at your weight you may want to try a Acrobat; though it is a squirt boat for many, you may need the stern volume that low to squirt easily. There are likely shorter, more "corky" boats ...

... or for cruising. $600 Valley Mill Magnet is worn but ok condition. A great all around cruising hull. Comfortable and predictable. $200 New Wave Acrobat has wear but is in quite good condition - could use a resin touch up on the seams. This is a super cool boat but just takes too tight a kneel ...

Re: C1 & C2 Boating
well including an Acrobat Squirt C1 I could never fit my heels under the deck of a Bat boat. The Viper C1 is the closest and I think that hull was taken from a cudamax. The Viper has been raved about on this forum well back 14 years ...

Re: Paddling Magazine article
... I just watch the for sale boards:) The one boat I'd really like to find is an Aerobat, as it is interesting to see the progression ending in the Acrobat that so many of us like. Other boats include a Meltdown (UK boat, not sure I'll ever find one), a Shaggy Jedi, and at least one of the Noah ...

C-boat for 120 lb 11 year old to learn - which to pick
... and will respond well to his movements. He can easily carry it. It is pretty used but does not leak and is solid. Option 1 - I've got a full cut Acrobat C1 that is pretty worn. But I think it would be a bit edgy overall though the size would not be too bad. If he were like 80 lbs it might be ...

Re: WTB: low volume squirt C-1
... this way just PM me through this board (same with anyone else reading this) and we'll see what we can come up with. I'd recommend getting another Acrobat as it is probably what you'll have the most fun with (though the Oxygen is always amusing...). If you are serious about downtime IMhO you have ...
