I would tend to use the past tense when referring to any Atlantis being a slalom boat...as in "it was a slalom boat," perhaps 30 or more years ago.

Which Atlantis? He made more versions, it's the successor of Jape. Atlantis III is pictured here in the CBoat museum. Resembles Jape a bit.

It looks like I will become the new owner of a Noah Atlantis made by Vladimar Vanha. As explained to me it is a slalom boat. Well, I converted a Noah Lava into a Magma, the kayak version. I know there is an unaltered Magma in existence in the SE, so if you can find it, you can ... spend time and hope looking for one.
