... coming and going. Condor is a great boat as well but definitely more of a tank that plows over anything but feels like overkill on all but fast big water. She's happy in the Ocoee. That said, condor makes those snappy peelouts and ferries when the current is ripping. They are both great boats. ...

Don't see the value add. If they are having issues paddling it its too big for them. In a few years you'll wish you would have left it as is if they grow to like paddling canoes! My $.01!

Soul Waterman's Fanatix
... new plastic C1 on the market. It is the Fanatix by Soul Waterman, designed by several top C1ers, Jon Lugbill and Corran Addison included. This is big news for the C1 community. It IS pricey at $1800 dollars! It looks very playful and is claimed to be a good general river runner. I am interested! ...

Re: Best full-slice conversion
I have a Big EZ. It's very slow, but good on steep waves. I had a Forplay, which was faster and would stay on waves that weren't as steep. The Forplay is as close as you'll get to Sith performance in plastic.

... the ledge above the bridge which at recent levels becomes a hole. The river can be paddled from 500 to 5,000 for most boaters or higher. When the Big Laurel is running it empty below an alternate take out at Stackhouse. We often paddle out after running Big Laurel at levels from 5000 to 10,000. ...

... the Cispus, had a class III+ section I'd paddled before but thought the forest access road was closed. It was open... I did not bring a pump or big float bags, just little end bags. The boat only weighs 19.5 pounds without outfitting, the lightest one he has built so far. My kayaking co-instructor, ...

... on waves with strong left/ right rudder demands. In terms of the Condor, playing is possible but limited. For example it's good for attaining big green waves, but much harder (for me) to spin or boof. The Octane 91 is lots of fun, particularly on steeper waves and does spin well if you're ...

PS Composites has a Viper mold. I think he may be able to make a larger than standard cockpit opening. The Storm Chaser is ...

... Viper is a lot of fun and has decent speed - built off the Cudamax. Really fun boat. You can find these around used. Decent comfort if you get a big enough cockpit rim as the Cudamax hull shape is wide and flat. 5. Modified Hahn - Victor at Class 5 is making a modified Hahn that he worked out ...
