... is a fantastic boat to trip in. At 230lbs and looking for something more advanced and nimble but not wanting to feel squeezed or less buoyant I am thinking the Covert 10.5 or Condor. I hope to try both next spring. I plan to come stateside since we don’t have many Silverbirch or Blackfly boats here.

... rout there in plastic are the L'Edge, although 250 lbs is near the upper limit for iert.
Other, longer and thus faster chocices that I have however never paddled personally would be a Blackfly Condor (narrower, a bit less stable but faster than a Octane 91) and the Silverbirch Covert 10.5 solo.
