Millbrook Culprit (no longer available) was about 11'; kneeling thwart or saddle IIRC, but Kaz would know for sure.
The Mohawk Maxim was under 10' IIRC

Re: What to do about bad knees
Baker's cyst was the first thing that came to my mind, too, but may not be the only "culprit" for that discomfort. Definitely worth using thigh straps and avoid the pressure the knee can receive from pressing the feet back against the foot pegs. Also work on the thigh and lower leg muscles with ...

Re: Leaking float bag
I agree with pblanc. The fill tube junction or valve is often the culprit. If it's not that then there's usually a pin hole somewhere on the top of the air bag. My preferred method is to fill be bag fairly hard with air then go over the entire top of the bag with my lips close to the bag. Your lips ...

I'm just as guilty as anyone for blaming gear/boats for failing moves when it was my paddling ability that was the real culprit. Please don't take this as a personal criticism. It's awesome you're working hard on your roll and not giving in to being a swimmer.

You have my sympathy. I got tennis elbow at 40. The culprit was doing hammer curls while weight training. Stopped me from doing competition.. heck, paddling, weight training, outdoor work for over a year. Did all the RICE, Doc, PT stuff. It was pretty chronic. Nothing worked.

I also miss my Millbrook Culprit. Sold because no one used it (got it for someone to use to paddle with me, they never did.). Not I'd like to use it!

I recently compared the sheet thickness of my Outtrage and my friends Bell Ocoee to his Dagger Genesis that was probably built when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. The difference in sheet thickness between the ...
