Not wanting to sidetrack this thread but I loved Prijon’s kayaks for c1 conversions.
Here’s someone’s else’s 210-220 pd padddler take on the LUV. Probably a kayaker.

Re: Prijon Delirious advice
I had one as a C1 and at about your weight. It was a lot of fun for all the reasons you mentioned, but for those same reasons, it made class 2 rapids very exciting! I sold it to a friend who is at about your former weight or a little lighter and he loves it. I wish they made one just a little bigger...

Re: Prijon Delirious advice
No experience with paddling it as a C1 here, but if you decide you don't want it I'd love to talk. I am in Seattle.

Re: Prijon Delirious advice
I returned to the river after a long hiatus. The first couple times out were especially humbling. I'd give the boat a try. If you don't like it and you're near Vermont I could be interested if it doesn't work out. I am lighter than you, but really enjoyed the boat back in the day!

Prijon Delirious advice
Back in the day I had a Delirious C1. I loved it. Good surfs and spins, eddyline silliness and hand cartwheels. I used it for playspots and playing my way down class 3 or less. I weighed about about 180lbs. I sold the boat long ago. I ...

... that is reasonably close in performance to a Shaggy Sith, then you should, mayne talk to you fellow VI resident Pierre LaPadelle and see if his Delirious is still available. I had one and I found it , due to it's width, to be stable, have resonable speed, to be a good surfer and to spin quite ...

Looking for a Shaggy Sith
I'm interested in buying a Sith. Ideally I would try before I buy, but we all know that's not always possible. I have a Delirious in the quiver and am getting more comfortable in that size of boat and have certainly heard from Martin and others that a Sith is much nicer. Anyone have ...

Re: C1 for those who need a tall saddle?
... and even with leg twist. It's amazing what seemingly small changes can do. When I started to get into C1's one of my first boats was a Prijon Delirious that someone else had converted. Not knowing anything about saddles, I paddled it as is, with the saddle being long and narrow. It was excruciating, ...

... 'wide-and-high' to find out what works best for your legs AND control. And don't write off the Remix until you try it. (And, by all means, try the Delirious. Pin-wheeling is fun!) :P Rick
