Hey folks, thanks for the inputs. I committed to a Dagger Encore with full outfitting including bags. Picking it up next weekend.

old 6' mohawk bags are slightly more than enough to bag my encore with mohawk saddle tight, so 5' should come close to filling an outrage which is 16" shorter and narrower. John

This canoe has a pedestal seat with four strap set-up (upper thigh and lower knee). The hull has no soft spots or de-laminations. Teal color. Boat is stored indoors. Includes yellow airbags that have small leaks. Pictures available on request. Boat is located in Atlanta GA. Not willing to ship, but ...

... like a cutting-edge race boat, mind you, but I'm not John Kaz, either, so it won't matter a whole lot. To me it always looked a bit like an Encore with sharper edges and a flatter bottom...which is something I'd be into. Thanks for the info, and I'll look into that Defiant.
