Re: River Elf C-1 Spray Skirts
... size. I am thinking something that would fit older 4m (90's style) slalom boats, late 80's squirt boats (and even before) ... for example: the 92 Fanatic, Dagger Zealot, Acrobat, etc. I once owned these boats years ago, but no longer do. If anyone is interested in a skirt for this style boat, ...

... would be great. I could make the waist smaller with some neoprene cement if I had to. I also would like to find a quality spray skirt for a Fanatic slalom C-1. My 25 year old skirt is starting to get quite worn. Any help would be appreciated. Jon Lugbill

Re: Galasport CHOP SHOP 4m slalom boat alteration question
I can tell you what I did . My first cut was on a beat Fanatic C1. I figured where I wanted to cut off each end, and just cut it off, all the way around. I then shaped some foam to the shape I wanted, and laid up cloth (fiberglass and kevlar) over that, ...

Millbrook Hornet, Valley Mill Magnet, New Wave Acrobat for sale
... not getting enough use and time to pass on. Millbrook Hornet is in excellent condition. The fastest cruising c1 I’ve ever paddled - as fast as my Fanatic. Would be a great c1 race boat like for the Gauley Animal or for cruising. $600 Valley Mill Magnet is worn but ok condition. A great all around ...

A couple points no one has mentioned ...

... but not fast. Great construction and a fun boat. One of few boats I bought new. 2. The Millbrook Hornet that I bought used is as fast as my old Fanatic, and fun to paddle - not super comfortable with the rounded hull but a really fun and fast boat. 3. My Valley Mill Magnet is pretty worn. Speed ...

Re: Anyone know anything about this C1?
Hard to say definitively, but I'm guessing Extrabat due to the length of the bow spike (I think) - it was shortened compared to the original Batmax and SuperBat. The bow id also fairly narrow. Could also be something in the Fanatic line

Re: Can anyone ID this slalom C1?
Hi John,
Thanks so much! I asked Davey also. He originally thought Fanatic but then decided it looked more like an ExtraBat, which is totally in line with what you’re saying. At any rate, it’s a fun boat.
Best, Paul

Re: need help ID-ing this New Wave C1
My first thought was Fanatic or F2 - The chine would be a dead giveaway, but can't see that From that angle, it is very hard to tell, but the bow seems narrow for a Bat (Super or Extra) They are a lot of fun - these days, I would clip ...

Re: need help ID-ing this New Wave C1
Definitely one of the Bat/Fanatic series - looks like a very flat deck which leads me to say Superbat as opposed to Extrabat or Fanatic. More pics or some measurements are needed.
