A little history, I am 190lbs, 5'9". I moved from an H3:255 to a Burn Large 2nd edition for the past 4 years. It has been a great boat. First off I can fit in it on a 7.5" saddle without my thighs digging in the combing. It was also nice and wide for knee placement. Sometimes it felt short in big water ...

... But I've converted the wavesport X, necky blunt, bliss stick flipstick, H3-255, burn L, prijon pure xl, wavesport habitat and the 2nd generation burn.
The best for me is the burn. The worst was the habitat.

Best advice I can give is to get a saddle system that you can remove and reinstall easily ...

Picked up a H3 255 based on the strength of some reviews of it as C1 I've read here and there... and because they can be had for cheap.

But I have never used the fence rail thing, seems like it would add weight, just glue foam on the rail that came the boat, not glued to the floor. I then cut slots in the rail for the straps. In my C1s (H3:255 and Burn), I have moved to supporting knee cups, straps and no foot pegs. I much prefer that set up for me going forward.
