Ever since, in multiple boat outfitting over 20 years, and as recently as a full tandem Dring outfit for a tandem setup in a Bell Nexus in summer of 2015, if you want "grip of God" adhesive, you want to order a 4oz can of 2-part Stabond adhesive. It is designed for industrial applications ...

What is a good price for a Bell Nexus? Almost new condition.

Hello All, I'm thinking of buying my friend's Bell Nexus. I want to make sure I give him a fair price and he doesn't have any idea what to ask. It's fully outfitted and has been paddled only a couple of times. It's been stored inside and is in great ...

Re: Canoe for the Grand Canyon

Hi Folks, For what it's worth, I took a Bell Nexus down the Grand Canyon on a solo self-supported trip, launched late October 2012. Good boat for the trip, plenty of volume to strap gear to the bottom of the boat, airbags superinflated above the ...

3rd hat in the ring

Own a Caption, have paddled a Blast, and tried a Bell Nexus this weekend on pin ball 3+.

The Nexus impressed me, carved well, good secondary, average dry. Worth looking at.

Two paddlers @ 200lbs each.

Re: outfitting gear

... The loops are just big enough to accommodate 2" wide webbing but I found that 1 1/2" wide webbing worked a little better. If you use plastic Nexus "Fastex" side release buckles to secure the pedestal (as I did) make sure you put the holes in the pedestal high enough that there is room for ...

Re: WTB tandem oc2 in the upper Midwest (wi,mn,mi)

I am in Madison WI, and I have a Bell Nexus with wood gunwales, full outfitting and center yoke, that I would be willing to part with, since I haven't used it in the past 3 years (other boats have come between us). The boat has been stored inside, ...

Looking for used tandem whitewater play Canoe

... kayaker convert to canoing and am keen to pick a tandem play canoe. I'm thinking a esquif blast, dagger or mad river caption, vertige x, bell nexus, or something similarly designed. I'm considering both new & used and willing to consider shipping options (Vancouver, Calgary or Spokane) as ...

Re: Ambitious tandem for a light team

We moved from a Nexus to a Blast and rarely paddle the Nexus now. The Blast is slower than the Nexus (read Caption as well) but turns on a dime and has amasing secondary stability. We weigh ~310 pounds. Because of the rocker (lots) ...
