... http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee448/Haggy187/tan.jpg Then you have Silverbirch's take on a modern day Ocoee/Viper 11 - what they are calling 'The Rebel'. SB will be bringing a couple of these over for ALF this year to get valuable input from US paddlers. ...

Re: Ledge or octane
... bet the 91 is still the best for the truly big paddler because it is longer, but that is just a guess. I paddled the DZ on the Upper and Lower Ocoee (class III+) and practice rolled it. It rolled very easily, just like the big Octane. I think the increased width makes both boats quite easy ...

Ledge or octane
Looking for a new boat. Not sure if I want to drop $1600 for a new octane 85, or find a used ledge for half that. Any thoughts? Class 3/3+ boater, not looking to be the next Dooley, just having fun. Typically found on tellico, little, ocoee, etc. Looking at stability factor, price, and fun. Thanks!

... Force -- but they're all bulkhead outfitted to my little chicken legs, and doubt you will be able to squeeze in. Unfortunately, I sold off my old Ocoee. I don't think we've ever seen a Millbrook in these parts. There's lotsa old school hulls around, though, I'll have to ask around to get you a ...

... A few years ago it was easy, but now it is quite difficult, eh? Sorry. But I'll continue to research that, eh? I own a Blackfly Option, a Dagger Ocoee, a Millbrook Blink and a Millbrook Shacho, eh? The older I get the more I like the Millbrook boats, but I will go with the Option if I'm in the ...

New to WW Canoe world... questions
New to whitewater canoeing... never even been in one. I was a raft guide on the Ocoee and love whitewater and want a way to experience it solo. After kayaking a few times I decided I want to try an OC or a C1. Im not crazy about kayaking because of the sitting position ...

Re: tandem rolling
... in our wildwater C2. We did a lot of playboating in our Duet, and many many enders with flips common - we did many enders at Slice and Dice on the Ocoee, and if you flip you want to roll fast before you get scraped up over the ledge below the ender spot. We could roll other ways. For example, we ...
