Has anyone converted a Dagger Phantom K1 to a C1 or the same for a Liquid Logic Braaap?
What are the thoughts on the Phantom especially? I'm currently gathering parts to build a Braaap hull out but also thought about either doing a Phantom or a Delta V88 as a C1?

Dwight

... primarily a decked boater, but paddled one in Costa Rica a few years back and had a blast (at that point I was around 160 lbs and 5'7' or so). A Phantom (again, if you can find one) is another boat you may want to watch for (weight wise).

... on the river (especially as I DO plan on having a CBoats Armada next spring:) ). It will be great to have a boat for lighter folks - only so many Phantom's still out there, and though the Splash is a great boat I think it tops out at 115 or 120 lbs (though I've paddled it at 175 for amusements ...

Outfitting advice for an old Rival?
... Alternatively, I am intrigued by the bulkhead foam saddle, though I'm not sure how well it would fit the boat.. I sat in one in an old dagger phantom and was impressed. I wonder if that would be a good option for an old Rival. Does that get glued down along the wings above the thighs and the ...

Dagger Phantom
My wife paddles a Dagger Phantom and she absolutely loves the boat. Unfortunately it is on its last legs. Is there anyone out there with a Phantom in good shape just sitting in their garage. If not I am wondering if anyone could recommend a boat that would have similar characteristics.

Re: smallest solo whitewater canoes with a seat option
Yes seat option--the canoe originally came with a traditional wood-framed seat, kneeling thwart, or saddle but not only a saddle
i.e. both a seat and a saddle where available
For example, the Dagger Phantom only option was saddle. Not sure I'd want to paddle a Phantom with a seat.

Re: smallest solo whitewater canoes with a seat option
... If so, virtually any ABS canoe that had regular wood or synthetic gunwales would work. I'm not sure what the smallest one was but the Dagger Phantom was pretty small at 9' 10" overall length.
