The Hype is Real: A Review of the Waka Sneeze
... I thought, as I had about many other boats over the years. The truth is, only a few kayak conversions I’ve had really stuck with me. Liquid Logic Remix 79, Pyranha Everest, and Necky Blunt in the big boat categories. Along comes the Sneeze, I mean Steeze, I mean, that’s not even a real word so ...

Good K hulls for C-1 conversion
... few years ago, the Pyranha Burn was considered to be the premier hull for C-1 conversion (creeking and general river-running). The Karnali and the Remix were strong runners-up, along with the Bliss-Stick Mystic. Brands have come and gone. Wondering which hulls are currently HOT for conversion. ...

Re: Kayak conversions—and catching up!
I have a Greenboat C-1, I converted in the hopes that it would be fun for slalom races, plus have more speed than my other conversions a remix 79 and Karma Large. It was not a good slalom boat, at least not for me. The boat really likes going straight as fast as possible. I find that it is ...

Re: Kayak conversions—and catching up!
I wonder if the green boat would be very stable as a c1, being somewhat narrow and long for speed. The Remix makes a nice c1, but might not be as snappy as a more slalom friendly design. I've seen a few Dagger Atoms around the west for reasonable prices, sometimes on Craigslist ...

... a detailed discussion, also the for sale section is a good way to learn about what people are paddling. I vary between 190 and 210, and have had a remix 79 for a few years and really enjoyed its predictability and speed for its size. I am switching to a karma l, to test having something with harder ...

Re: Most notable C1 conversion?
... regular attention for me to stay comfortable in them, the Score is stable enough I can come back to it after months and still have fun. The Remix line has been a very popular for conversions, but it's not about "moves", it's just a very friendly boat. Perhaps heresy here, but for general ...

Looking for a C-1 Creek Boat
I'm looking for a C-1 creek boat. Would like a Recon 93, Liquid Logic Remix 79, Prijon, 9R, or something else that is really good on steep creeks. I'm new to C-1 and I have been talking to Liquid Logic for a new C-1 shell, but at the moment I don't have the ...

Re: C1 Remix conversion
Starting about here is a series of pictures from my Remix conversion with snow board knee straps and a snap shackle based quick release. it evolved from the original install sitting on a PE plate held in place by friction and pressure with no bolts ...

Re: C1 Remix conversion
I'd like to see one of those bulkhead conversions in the flesh. Prior to this, I've only paddled OCs with bulkheads. An attraction for using kneestraps over a bulkhead is the adjustability. Plus, the kneestraps maintain their shape so that the paddler can slide their knees in, upon entering the boat...

Re: C1 Remix conversion
It is my first conversion and the absence of a bulkhead seemed like a good way to keep the space under the bow deck easily accessible for trips.
Nice, Yeah it certainly gives that advantage. I've had set ups previously with the bulkhead fit in with force-to allow ease of acc...

Re: C1 Remix conversion
Interesting double strap method, curious why not a bulkhead with single strap set up?
Do you plan to use the boat for extended trips?
Prost
