Time for a New Boat

... finally at the point of needing to be replaced. I am a kayaker but like to canoe a few times a year on some of the easier rivers in my area (Lowe rogue, umpquas, Klamath). I have only ever paddled the Ocoee and boy do I love that boat and how it turns, which I attribute to the rocker. Looking ...

Re: Keep these Open Canoes from going to the dump

I am potentially interested! I live in the East Bay and am heading north for a Rogue River trip this week. I could make a detour to pick them up on my way back on Monday, July 1. Are they still available?

Looking forward to seeing your welds Milkman.
It's gotta be better than my g flex slathering although it all held together on my pin balling the Fish Ladder on the Rogue last weekend. Barely.

Re: Lower Salmon trip

Thanks for the photo/video tour, Carol. I was on the Rogue this past weekend with some friends and we all decided to do this run (Snake + Lower Salmon) next year. I'm the only one who hasn't done it--I've always had other things on my plate when friends did the trip.

End of Sept Multiday trip (Rogue River or Hells Canyon)

I want to do one last trip before the weather goes south on us. I am planning on hitting either the Rogue (if I can get a cancellation permit) or Hells Canyon. The plan is to drive down the 20th, launch the 21st, and take out on the 24th. If people can't get away from work ...
