Re: Deck the hulls with scraps of fabric; Falala La La. . .
I've seen people use a "big deck" size neo spraydeck on an esquif salsa, and a bloke (Bob of concept racing) made use of his fabrication company to make an aluminium deck with a cockpit that he riveted to his Zoom... But I'm left wondering, 'if you're doing that why not just use a C1?'

Re: Winter in the Grand Canyon
... that flat area to wake up a few mikes above pearce.(aprox 40 miles). In 2009 I paddled down past pearce to mile 298 to take out (south cove). I enjoyed that area quite a bit but aside from a crazy fun pearce ferry rapid and the salsa surf wave it was just a pretty flat ramp down from the whole canyon.

... to cool?), but really just cosmetic.
Haven't paddled mine in years. I'm almost certain I've given up C-1, but I'm hanging onto it just in case. It's in great shape, I could be tempted to trade it for a good Spanish Fly or full rodeo OC like a Blackfly or Salsa. If I do decide to sell, I'll post it.

Re: Looking for Salsa video in action
I can't find it, but 8-9 years ago there was some video from the Worlds in Australia that showed Paul Danks and Mark Scriver in the Salsa.Yukon wrote:Anyone have any or know where I can find on of a Salsa in Action? I did do a search but did not come up with anything

... the older version (the one stolen at US Team Trials). I agree with Bob that it has a better balance to it. It is much faster than the BlackFly, Salsa and CUfly. The BlackFly handles well and is available in plastic, but I think in the Kaos I will be able to perform McNasty's and Orbits once I ...

Re: Surfing, 360's, and snappy rolls.
... kind of paddling's what I want to do when I grow up!
I was interested to see the Big Dog in action -- is this one of the prototypes, or are the production models making an appearance?
Any comments as to how the Big Dog compares to other OC playboats -- eg. Blackfly, Salsa, CU Fly. . .
Thanks!
