... easier to do more practice runs, not having to spend much energy carrying the boat! For my weight, the Shacho is much more stable for me than the Spark, with lots of secondary stability. I should also note that the build quality of mine is superb, but that's been said before by others. Thanks ...

Yeah, probably not, I've tried to fit into some of squeakyknee's outfitting, couldn't come close.

I'm 5'8". If your thighs are skinny you might make it deep enough into the thigh hooks.

My preference is Cheek control without the pads. My C1's seat pivots up from the back for exit safety.

That's really sad - they've done a lot for the whitewater community (keeping older models alive, and bringing us the L'Edge, Zoom, Zephyr, and Spark to name a few...).

We wish Jacques Chasse and the whole Esquif family well.
