Re: fleece rubber, where to find

I have some "fuzzy rubber" I bought in the mid-to-late 90's. I have added several XX to my torso and it no longer fits :-( Now I just use a fleece sweater and several NRS rash guards under either a splash top or dry top. Depending on warm I want to be.

... having a CBoats Armada next spring:) ). It will be great to have a boat for lighter folks - only so many Phantom's still out there, and though the Splash is a great boat I think it tops out at 115 or 120 lbs (though I've paddled it at 175 for amusements sake). Can you give us further detail on ...

Re: smallest solo whitewater canoes with a seat option

Most I can think of were saddles and not seats or kneeling thwarts. Massive Air Creative Composites Splash (both of which are still available). Millbrook Culprit (no longer available) was about 11'; kneeling thwart or saddle IIRC, but Kaz would know for sure. The Mohawk Maxim ...

Re: Getting the young ones out in open boats

A tandem is nice, but kids will learn paddling faster in a solo boat.
Our problem with our 6-year old daughter: there is no canoe in her size.
We do have a taureau, but a 6 year old kid cant handle it.
The splash is nice, but import to europe is very expensive.
So last year I built a SOF for her.
