... following. I have one, and love it. I would hate to think I couldn't replace it. And -- Ou sont les partially-decked-playboats d'antan??? The Superfly is long gone, but arouses great interest among those in the know. The Quake has an incredible cult-following, and they are grabbed up before ...

Re: Would love to demo Skeeter-like boat.
I would recommend the GDI group on facebook. There's a few on there who have skeeters, and superfly's and spanishflys. I'd recommend trying the Option/L'Edge/Blink type boats as well with you coming from an Outrage

Re: Looking for solutions for reinforcing a Prelude's hull
I G-flexed a full bottom on the inside of a SuperFly. I harvested the "patch" piece from an old kayak hull. I did flame treat both patch and Fly at the time of repair. I put about 300# of weight on the patch to squeeze out all the extra G-flex ...

Re: BigDog Force OC1?
... old kayak. I foamed out the sides where the tanks were. I like the way it paddles very much. It has nice edges and carves well. It is as dry as my Superfly and Quake, but if you hit a wave head on some water is coming in over that raised cockpit. I put ash thwarts in where the factory ones were ...

Re: L'Edge re-outfitting question
... I did my first one, based on the old Perception saddle, before Frankie Hubbard started outfitting Skeeters and Superflies this way. Once I got a Superfly, I refined my technique and made them so the bulkhead portion of the saddle was custom fit to the sides of whatever boat I was putting it in. ...

The Most Insanely Easy To Roll Canoe Ever Created
... I took my new (to me) L'Edge out in the pond to do some roll practice. I have owned a number of boats that roll really easily (such as my Savage Superfly and an old Phantom OC1-Kanubi gave me) but I have never experienced anything as easy to roll as this 2011 L'Edge. Paddle not all the way to ...

Re: Boat of the Week - Dagger Aftershock
A little less Aftershock footage than I remember (and a good deal more Superfly footage) but 8:35 is still a classic moment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwsAYPOjkrM Georgia Tech still owns a purple Aftershock marked demo. I spent too many hours reoutfitting ...

Rolling boats with extreme rocker???
