Thanks, I think I will pass, what I'm really looking for is a 3.5 meter race layup slalom boat.
Cheers

Re: Millbrook Hornet, Valley Mill Magnet, New Wave Acrobat for sale
Aargh, yes, the Acrobat came from you. I had a lot of fun it it for about 5 years or so I think. The Millbrook is a Hornet. I don't know what the layup is but it is not heavy - it weighs about the same as my River Elf Storm Chaser. Vann Evans had it built by Kaz and I think it is the standard Millbr...

Re: Millbrook Hornet, Valley Mill Magnet, New Wave Acrobat for sale
May be interested in the lower volume Millbrook. What is the layup like? Is it a heavy boat?
Thanks

Millbrook Hornet, Valley Mill Magnet, New Wave Acrobat for sale
... Animal or for cruising. $600 Valley Mill Magnet is worn but ok condition. A great all around cruising hull. Comfortable and predictable. $200 New Wave Acrobat has wear but is in quite good condition - could use a resin touch up on the seams. This is a super cool boat but just takes too tight a ...

Re: Long Lost C-Boater wondering: what to paddle?
... - Victor at Class 5 boats makes these. Comparison of the Hornet and Magnet at https://cboats.net/cforum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7970535 4. New Wave Viper is a lot of fun and has decent speed - built off the Cudamax. Really fun boat. You can find these around used. Decent comfort if you get ...

Can anyone ID this slalom C1?
I just bought this New Wave C1 and was wondering if anyone knows what it is. It has a sticker on it from '93 Nationals, so it had to have been made '93 or earlier. The build card is illegible. Thanks!

Re: need help ID-ing this New Wave C1
Yeah, he only wants $150. I picked up what's maybe a Bat of some kind a few weeks ago and would like to get a Viper. There's one in Richmond I might take for two bills. It's not a lot of money for someone who has a job :( but I am not one of those people at the moment. Lots of time, not a lot of cap...

Re: need help ID-ing this New Wave C1
My first thought was Fanatic or F2 - The chine would be a dead giveaway, but can't see that From that angle, it is very hard to tell, but the bow seems narrow for a Bat (Super or Extra) They are a lot of fun - these days, I would clip the bow spike and shorten the stern a bit - especially if you get...

Re: need help ID-ing this New Wave C1
Definitely one of the Bat/Fanatic series - looks like a very flat deck which leads me to say Superbat as opposed to Extrabat or Fanatic. More pics or some measurements are needed.

Re: need help ID-ing this New Wave C1
Dude can't find the build sheet, but if anyone is interested it's outside Philadelphia. https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/boa/d/trenton-13-new-wave-kayak/7204078576.html Looks like it's got bags, which is like half the value of the boat. Also saddle looks pristine, and very little wear on the ...
