Hornet is a "sporter" Cascade, and yes, a bit less stable.

Wide Ride might be better.

River Elf Storm Chaser might be another option depending on what you are looking for.

The Hornet is happiest with people under 150 lbs, the Wide Ride was for Bob Connolly (200+ lbs).

Work on my old Wide Ride is excellent. And my Edsel is fine except where Connolly's mold was leaky. If your boats were pristine, they would cost twice as much. GITTEERDONE!
