Re: Anyone else heading to ASCI to watch the worlds?

Where can I get results besides the ICF. They only support proprietary software.

Re: Fiberglass thigh strap loops

I had the same problem. I finally had Kaz glass the loops in and they have been solid for the last ten years. Visually the job requires that additional layers of glass cloth be laid over the strands of the loops you have prepared. Just think you are applying all of your body weight to the 8 sq in of...

Shep,
There is a group on yahoo, neriverrunners, that you can monitor for whose doing what where. I may go to the Fife if that is what is running, but there are many other first choices if rain comes.

Re: New squirt C1 anyone?

I'm a litle skeptical that this approuch will gain support. There are currently two recent C-mystery designs in limited circulation. The Ceamweaver and Mentor. Have you tried these two boats? The limitation to C-mystery is fine leverage control. I have read many posts regarding C-mystery moves and f...

Re: Boat of the Week - Perception Gyra Max

I last paddle my GyroMax in 2002 when I bought the Atom. It was my first C1 and I've never missed it. Looking back its rounded hull was not the right shape for how I fit in a canoe.

Re: Slalom boat outfitting.

You have it upside down. The bungee should be on top when you put it on. Wish I had a picture.

Re: Slalom boat outfitting.

Snapdragon and it came with a few inches of extra material around the bungee. Sounds like you got a Rapid Style skirt. The fringe is supposed to be wedged around the bungee not folded inside. You should still see some fringe poking out under the bungee when it is in the groove. The new style cockpi...

The exact model is nolonger listed. I like the looks of the H4 on their site. One thing I should mention is that the wei...

Re: Tandem boating, but drier. . .

C2ing, my favorite subject, but finding consistent partners is difficult. Shaggy designs proposed C2 looks like fun. The most available boats though are the training boats used by the slalom teams. The modern C2's are just under 14' and have atom sized centered cockpits. New they cost in the range o...

Re: Cboat Armada May 16, 17 and 18 during 2014 Rendezvous

Hey, I enjoyed meeting a lot of boaters for the first time. The Shade was a blast. I especially enjoyed the group swim, and yes I can hold my breath for a long time. I didn't paddle Sunday, just packed and drove up through the watershed. Saw Rand get his rock for winning the open and decked canoe ca...

Approaching 10,000 CFS, is this going to drop into a boatable range?
I guess I need to take the rest of next week off to enjoy the bounty.

I'll be arriving in McHenry MD Thursday night and will check the river forecast then. I can post here our plans. Rain is forecast so there may be options aplenty.

Re: It's a sickness...

I'm still interested in this boat Bob.

If I could get free Sunday afternoon (5/11/14) would it be possible to try out the latest prototype at T'ville?
