In order of my preference. Dagger/ Mad River Caption or MR ME or Mohawk Probe 14 or a Dagger Caper for solo/ tandem whitewater. Tommy, the Caper last? I *loved* that boat! Adam, how is your AC/DC outfitted. I put knee pads in mine thinking that would be enough, but after a couple of outtings we're ...

Marc, I got very different advice from both a physical therapist and orthopedic surgeon. They both said there was no reason to curtail my activities (and I made it well known that included WW canoeing). I'm now fully recovering from 2+ years of tennis elbow in my right arm, only now to find symptoms...

One of the best investments I've made lately was to get outfitted for contacts. I use the disposable kind. I only use 'em for paddling, so it's really not that expensive.

What a difference!!

That used to be my boat. I would suggest to anyone interested email Kaz and ask if he took any "before and after" pictures.

right brain/left brain

Its a right brain/left brain thing. I'm right handed, paddle on the right, work in a creative job. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/right-brain-v-left-brain/story-e6frf7jo-1111114603615 Interesting. I can make it go both ways, but clockwise is definitely the "dominant" direction. I'm right handed a...

You can't beat Kokatat for customer service. I sent one in for a neck gasket replacement, and they ended up replacing the suit because the material was delaminating.

Another vote for the RAV 4. Go for the 6 cyl. My mileage is consistent with Marc's.

I use the Thule ratchet thingies as bow lines. Reach under the front bumper about half the length of your forearm and there's a metal lip that'll grab a hook.
