Prijon Delirious, Delirious XL

As a public service for other lovers of these classic conversions and some PR for a good guy. Kent at Kent's - Spokane has at least four more of these brand new , w/ all original paperwork and outfitting kits. Do your own dealing, but I will say that I paid significantly less than the $599 tag. Tota...

C-boating: Sea-boating

... to Vancouver Island, I recently tagged along with a bunch of young kayakers to sample the ocean surf at Tofino. I took along my recently-converted Delirious, and managed to have -- not a lot of success, but lotsa fun in the waves, (which, fortunately, weren't that huge, but big enough to ensure ...

Re: C1 Playboating massacre!

... of the older-school playboats, with long slicy ends, are mucho fun on a wave. Check out Einar's footage of BC boater Joel White in his old Prijon Delirious (LINK below). And, finally, sbroam's suggestion of '3 boats, at least,' is pretty conservative. Remember -- He who dies with the most boats ...

Re: Drakkar Wheelboy

... a great all rounder (at the right weight), but a little lost as a rodeo/ freestyle boat. It didn't have the slice and cartwheel ability of my Delirious or the pop and aerial ability of newer boats. I think anyone (at any weight) could find a better freestyle specific boat to convert. However, ...

The plastic really is great. I've been paddling a Prijon Release playboat for years and it's bomber.

I never paddled a Delirious, but that was supposedly an awesome C-1 conversion.

I'd say go for it!

I had one. It was a fun boat, but at ~180-190 lbs I was a bit above the ideal weight range for it.
But then I got to try A Sith. It did everything the Delirious did and then some. Never looked back...

TGG!

Prijon Delirious

Came upon a used Prijon Delirious for sale recently. Looks like an old-school slicy playboat, with all the volume amidships, but the specs indicate the width (27") may provide some extra stability. Would be grateful to hear if anyone ...

Growing the sport

... we have to move out of our comfort zone from getting rock solid in our current boats? I know when I switched from my Shaman to a Taureau and a C-1 Delirious, stuff that gave me no trouble before I might flip in now...my comfort level dropped at first...and sometimes I still feel embarrassed paddling ...

I had a Delirious years ago, end while it was fun, I always felt that at ~190 lbs I was close to the upper weight limit of the boat. The difference in volume between the regular size and the XL delirious is minimal, onmy the foot ...
