Re: Fiberglass Crack Repair, Unemployed Boaters Union Local 282
This seems to be the most straightforward and professional video I could find. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xm2Ezo70vFI Fully half of the comments are compliments on the guy's hair, which seems reasonable. All the other videos I could find feature ugly work and guys wiping things clean with rags ...

Fiberglass Crack Repair, Unemployed Boaters Union Local 282
Hey everyone, I cracked the stern of my Descender this past weekend. Just wondering if anyone had any Pro Tips they wanted to pass on as I repair it. I've got resin, fiberglass mat, and lightweight roving to do the job. About an 8" crack far back enough to the end of the boat that I won't be able to...

Re: Slalom C-2 and C-1 for sale
It's probably been answered in the previous 36 attempts to sell the Maybe Bat, but what do you guess the proper paddler weight range to be for that boat?
I lost my job but my birthday is coming up, and a hundred bucks is a Nice Price.
Thanks.

I've got a question. After a nice day out in my vintage pain machine, I find that I can no longer walk down the street like a mere mortal. I am almost crippled and I find that I have forgotten which way my knees were designed to operate. I can go upstairs with mild complaints, but downstairs only wi...

Re: Under rated boats...
I got a quick reply back from Kaz at Millbrook. He said he's only built two, and that he was surprised they didn't take off.
He said that he was sure Adam would let me take his out for a ride

Re: Under rated boats...
I just took my new-to-me Descender out for a spin on the Mongaup yesterday and it was fast and fun and everyone thought I was some kind of time traveller. It was my first time in a C1, ever, and I am finding it hard to walk normally the day after. I got a foam roller and some edibles, so I think I'l...

It's summer and the flows are low where I'm at, just please chime in and tell me some hairy stories from Way Back When and inclue some Spicy Details about Boats Nobody Paddles Nowadays.
Never thought I'd have to pull teeth to get people to tell stories.

Snapdragon slalom CI sprayskirt to trade
I've got a medium tunnel slalom cockpit size snapdragon skirt in what looks like new, unused condition.
I'd like to trade it for a large tunnel slalom sprayskirt from just about any manufacturer.
Been eating too much pasta in quarantine.

Jim has two rapids on different CT rivers named after him from what I understand. Michaud's Hole on the Natchaug and Michaud Falls on the Hubbard.

Re: South Eastern First Descents, Overflow, etc.
Holy nutsack, that's crazy.
Were C1s more popular with crazy people (and in the general boating community) in the 70s and 80s?
