Re: Thoughts on Esquif Blast??
I have not paddled a Blast either. I have been around them at slalom races. They were all paddled OC2; I have never seen one fitted solo. I would say, for someone at 250# looking for a long fast slalom-like boat, you've made two good ...

Thoughts on Esquif Blast??
So, the Blast has been out for a long time, but for some reason, I've never seen one in person. So, obviously, I've never paddled one. I'm looking for a new boat, and I like long, fast boats. I'm big, 6.5/6.6 240/250 lbs, and ...

... on it! Just got back from a week long trip in the UK to paddle and test out the prototype. Felt real good! Edgier than a Covert, more volume to blast holes, faster acceleration but lower top end speed. Emphasis on primary stability. Here's a video that I did of the trip! https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=Ytzyqi78fmM" ...

Re: Does anyone canoe in Colorado?
... with the solid bulkhead. In the Denver Craigslist there has been a posting of 2 canoes, both esquif. A nitro with a bulkhead and twin pumps and a blast rigged solo with straps. The boats look really unused in the pics. They are asking $1000 each, seems to be a bit more than I'd be willing to spend ...

Re: surfc1
When I traveled to the coast on business I used to always bring a boat to surf - it was a blast. the Viper (Frachella designed) was a lot of fun, and easy (comparatively) to get out past the breakers with. The boat that was the most fun was the Massive Groove. That was ...

Re: Esquif Blast for sale
I'm definitely interested, but live in the Pacific NorthWest. I'd pay a reasonable shipping charge to get the boat to, say, Bellingham, WA, but have no knowledge of shipping options in the U.S.
Any ideas?
Thx
Rick

... for me, so it's hard to judge. I'm 190 and was surprised at how well it floated me. Also it felt very stable. Surfs, spins and rock splats are a blast in it, and it feels so light when you have to dump! Plus, the new textured surface makes it easy to hold on to. I already ordered one!
