Re: Blackfly Canoe demos out west - where should we go?
... releases are VERY poular, and are the last weekends in July, Aug, and the big (our biggest) festival is in sept. The Tobin section would be a blast in a good oc! Might also contact Keith Miller at CA Canoe and Kayak and try to set up a "demo days", though it'll probably only attract lake paddlers..

Wanted: OC-2 like Esquif Blast or Dagger Caption
Looking for an OC-2 like an Esquif Blast or a Dagger Caption. Ideally the boat would be outfitted/able to be outfitted with a triple saddle, but not too picky at this point. In WV now, but have lots of connections in the southeast/northeast as well. Anyone?

Re: Open boat for a bigger paddler
If he won't go for the Octane 91, Outrage X or Blast outfitted solo, a Veritge, or Viper 12 for more performance, or even an Outrage or Rival maybe. And those older boats like a Genesis work good too - I'd include H2Pro on the list, depending on ...

Re: rolling the CU-Fly
Yes the Cufly helped my roll so much. If forces good technique. With the Cufly you really have to keep your head down and really hug the front deck. A smaller/thinner PFD can help. I love my Cufly for what it does and is blast in the our play hole

... the most popular boat for kids on multi-family I-II floats. If you are interested in adding to your fleet you might check with Attila - they are a blast. My wife and I have fun playing in it in the ocean surf. For canoe content, my kids are each learning real canoe strokes in the Howler - with ...

... has me questioning wether we'll see much more from them. Boat has been in storage as a spare, just took it out for the first time in years. Was a blast. So much faster than other roto molds. Not sure I want to give it up.

... running will be the Clackamas (class 3/3+, easier runs as well), White Salmon (class 3+), and North Santiam (class 2+/3) Rivers. I can lend you a Blast, paddles, some helmets and PFDs. I will be around during that time span and can likely get out with you, but not as a guide, just a paddling companion. ...

ALF 2015 Dates?
I'm getting ready to put in a vacation request, and wanted to be sure about the dates for ALF this year. Would it start on Sunday March 15th and run the rest of that week? I had a blast last year, and want to make sure I'm there again this year.
Thanks,
Rob
