Re: Covert review
I am a fan of the L'edge. The light version I like a lot. The Covert accelerates quickly but can keep on picking up speed. It feels surprisingly light on the water. I think the L'edge would be the better surfer. The Covert tracks easier...very easy to keep on line. They both are very stable with gre...

Covert review

Re: Birmingham, AL questions
Thanks for the info everyone. Looks like pretty decent paddling...huge plus
The timing right now isn't the best for me to be selling my house here, and my wife isn't so sure about the hot summers...lived in Winston-Salem for a few years and likes NC. But it's worth checking up on it sounds like.

Birmingham, AL questions
Sorry if this isn't appropriate to ask here, but hopefully some down that way can help? I have a pretty nice job offer in the Birmingham area and it looks like there might be decent paddling in the area? Am pondering it but have some reservations. I did have a friend of a friend tell me that it coul...

Everything is easier to exit when upside down so the hip grabbers might be fine.

Re: Outfitting Millbrook Howler
Oops, everyone is pretty particular about strap placements. Are you doing a single over thighs or a Mike Yee style with over the knees and thighs?

Re: Outfitting Millbrook Howler
I'd think you'd want to rough up the hull where you want the anchors and glass in rope for anchor points. You could glue in a bulkhead though just fine too.
If your hull is just faded, a coat of clearcoat would bring it back to shine.
Pics would be nice
