In actual practice it makes more sense to keep all glass fabrics on the outside and aramids on the inside. Do not sandwich a piece of glass between 2 layers of Kevlar, and vice versa. It creates lots of stress. I'm sure John Sweet could answer your laminate schedule questions.

Hi Adam,
Just my opinion, but carbon has no place in a whitewater boat. It's unbelievably stiff which is great, until you hit a rock.
Buy some bias Kevlar (Twaron) seam tape from JR and do 2 layers inside and 2 out. Seams are the most important part of the boat.

Just letting people know that this will be an awesome event. Esquif is the major sponsor and I know they will put on a good show. Also, there is a slalom the weekend before Nats at the same venue. Come one come all! Guaranteed warm warm and plenty of rivers and creeks to paddle afterwards. Never tri...

My all time favorite is a Mitchell carbon shaft/carbon blade. You just can't beat it for price and performance. There is no other...........except for maybe the Zaveral Power Curve. I really love the feel and lightweight blade of this paddle. It's currently my first choice.

Issac,
Do you prefer plastic or composite? There is your answer grasshopper.
Too many people are afraid of "glass". I think that a well made composite boat will outlast an abs boat. It's certainly easier to repair composite boats.

Yo ob,
Thanks again for that Moose Drool.
Measure 74 1/2" from tip of bow to the upright part of saddle that touches your back. Plop your butt down there. That measurement seems to work for most people.
