Re: Esquif related questions? Let me help

Heya! Spanish Fly: dunno,.dont think so Prelude: yes, will be manufactured in the UK TFormex: All are now being made in TFormex. I got my hands on a Vertige in TFormex in November; it was amazingly light and really nice to handle However, the demand seems to be so high it's hard to follow Hope that ...

Some questions keep coming up so I'd thought I'd introduce myself So, for questions and quicker answers ( I know we've been not the best in answering), you coul...

Re: Questions concerning new L'Edges manufactured by Liquidl

Hello I'm not an employee, but a teamrider at Esquif. I might be able to answer some questions. First: Apologies if some emails aren't answered. We have way more work than we have people, so unfortunately some things fall off the wagon Is there any questions left? If so, you're welcome to contact me...

Re: L'edge vs. Blackfly Octane 85

if you're that short n small, you could really check out the Prelude. It's a joy to paddle, it's really effortless. The 85 is not as nimble nor as performant or fun in my eyes and the l'edge is more a boat for bigger people Many People say the Prelude is unstable, but honestly speaking, at that size...

Re: t-formex

I should have been a bit more clear, sorry, I'm not always good at composing a message that contains all I actially want to say. so now...of course I would not compare a typical composite layup with the regular PE creekboat. I was thinking about more specialized composite layups. There is a very sma...

Re: t-formex

ezwater, of course some composite materials are tough and repairable...but they are not more popular because of the price. Unlike thermoplastics, composites require a lot more manual steps in manufacturing, combined with higher basic material cost, and are therefore more time and cost expensive. it ...

Re: A bad break

people get passionate about it quickly. I take it not only with a grain, but with a whole barrel of salt since nobody really has exact statistics or numbers to proove one or the other theorem. Subjective perceivings are not convincing. there are also no studies on how much load a boat can or should ...

Re: A bad break

how long had the Prelude been stored, that you got from your friend? even if not being used and stored inside, polymeric materials like PE can age and additives in the plastic can get lost. At some point, boats on rocks will crack. I've seen Options crack, too. Another factor is the gunwale setup. I...

Re: Green Race 2014

to my knowledge, it was Gigi (the awesome lady with the white l'Edge, also on Team Esquif) who was the first woman to run the Narrows, and all the other Boof Sisters have run the Narrows as well. I was just the first one to race, but it was about time for a woman to race and hopefully next year I'll...
