boats for sale

I plan to be at GAF on the Nantahala with a few boats to sell. All in excellent condition. Probably a Dagger Ocoee, Dagger Ovation and maybe a Dagger Encore or a Mad River Outrage. Send me a pm if you plan to be there and want to take a look.

Re: pedestal glueing question

I don't know about gluing over the old foam but apply a little adhesive remover and use a soft bath towel to rub vigorously over the foam and the foam should come off.

Re: ovation pedestal placement

I tend to think of that as personal preference or the way you like the boat to handle. I like to be just slightly bow light.

Re: ovation pedestal placement

Measuring from the tip of the bow deck plate to the part of the pedestal where your back touches. Just like you said. 76"

Re: ovation pedestal placement

My Ovation is set up with the pedestal seat back 76" measured from the bow and it is 8" high. I am about 170# and this works fine for me. I suppose I could move it forward an inch or two and it would still handle well. My personal opinion is 9" is a little tall but try it first and see how it handle...

double (thigh/knee) straps

I'm looking for a set Esquif or Bell thigh straps. Anyone have a set they would part with?
Thanks

Re: Esquif

I kinda figured that tformex was still in the experimental stage but I thought they might be molding a few plastic boats but no dealer seems to have any.

Esquif

Does anyone know what is up with the company. I thought they would be back in production by now. Just curious.

Re: Fiberglass Mold Making

If I'm not mistaken Kaz will be building the composite Outrage soon. Jim Henry is the co-designer along with Tom Foster. I only mention this because you may had rather go with one of the other boats you mentioned since the Outrage will be available.
