So is PE a good material for ww canoes, that are longer wider than a certain size? Is the shape of it make it more prone to breaking, pirana Prelude, had a fairly round bottom to start with, would it make it less prone to craking? How many Maxim Tommy as broken so far? He seems to run the hardest of...

I think 300lbs in quite light for a tandem team, and would assume most boats 13 and over that cary there width quite a ways to the ends, would work. I don't know about a MRC OutrageX, I have one and it is prety skiny et the ends and would be a wet ride... I think!?

FWIW, Voyageurs were racer, they had to race agains the seasons, to be upstream and back before freez up with a load of fure to trade to get there money for the winter.... I also read that thay were averaging in the 60 strock a minut....

Isn't the L'Èdge decked?!? and since we are talking about the l'Èdge, if it is a decked version that cracked, we could compare it to a kayak....

Wow, Good price on the tickets, and great list of gear for the draw!!! Up here the tickets are almost double the price and as for the draw.... I don't know what we will have!!!
